Awards Introduction

The annual BALI National Landscape Awards showcase the high levels of professionalism attained by members of the British Association of Landscape Industries. First introduced in 1976 to acknowledge professionalism and best practice in the landscape industry. The awards event has grown over the years to become the largest and most prestigious event in the industry, attracting interest from across the world.

There are 16 different categories covering domestic, commercial, grounds maintenance and interior projects. One Principal Award is given in each category. Finalists that do not win a Principal Award, automatically merit a National Award. The Grand Award is the most coveted award and is presented to the BALI member company whose winning scheme is considered, above all other award winners, to exemplify landscaping excellence and truly outstanding professionalism.

The adjudication panel comprises experts from across a range of industry disciplines. When judging entries for the awards the panel remain entirely independent and follow strict judging criteria. Their decisions are completely transparent and available for scrutiny. This is why the BALI awards are held in such high regard.
